details = Uhuru Dancers, Inc. is a traditional African dance company. Uhuru is a community based non-profit
organization that has been empowering the Atlanta area through African Culture since 1989. The company was
established with the purpose to uphold a strong legacy of African culture through dance, rhythm, song, &
folklore.

Uhuru currently offers a wide variety of workshops, community events, & performances through out the year.

The group is also dedicated to teaching the youth through Watoto Uhuru, the Children of Freedom. Watoto is
comprised of boys  & girls ages 3-18.
